I am a bespoke essayist and communications consultant for artists and cultural initiatives. My focus is the development of individualized written materials that do more than simply “promote” a career. I work closely with artists to shape language, context, and narrative around their achievements, creating essays and strategic messaging that reflect the actual depth and specificity of their practice.

 

At a moment when public discourse is increasingly flattened by distraction, crisis rhetoric, and manufactured narratives, thoughtful writing can still create a meaningful counterweight. My aim is to help artists articulate the realities of their work with clarity, intelligence, and historical awareness — whether through essays, statements, press materials, interviews, catalog texts, or broader communications strategy.

 

Because each artist’s trajectory is unique, my approach is entirely bespoke. I am particularly interested in long-form positioning that accrues meaning over time rather than disappearing into the cycle of momentary visibility. My background as a curator, critic, and educator informs this work, as does a lifelong engagement with contemporary art and its histories.
